Perhaps one of the most poorly understood facets of implant dentistry is the design and use of resilient attachment systems and bar overdentures. Unfortunately restoring dentists often relegate the irreversible determination of prosthetic design to a surgery specialist who determines the type, number, and location yet has never restored a single case.
This course will offer a concise but detailed review of Loactor™, Equator™, and generic ball abutments. We will discuss the implant requirements for type, number, and location of implants relative to the prosthetic plan and attachment being used. Finally, we will review the fabrication of bar over-dentures and chairside impression techniques to ensure a passively fitting framework. Who should attend: Both restoring and surgical dentists and their implant teams. Course Objectives:
